False prophets have been around for a long time. The Bible warns us that not everyone who claims to speak for God is truly sent by Him. This is what makes false prophets so dangerous—they look like they are doing good, but underneath, their teachings can cause real harm. They are like wolves in sheep’s clothing, as Jesus describes in Matthew 7:15 (NIV): “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.”This book is about understanding who false prophets are, what they teach, and how to recognize them. Many people today are confused by the messages they hear. Some teachers and leaders promise great things, but their promises don’t line up with what the Bible teaches. They may say that God will give you wealth or perfect health if you follow them, or that they alone know the true way to follow God. But God never meant for His Word to be twisted or misused for someone’s gain.
